Gates Millennium Scholars receive the full cost of a college education and more. The deadline to apply is January 11, 2012.
Quest Bridge provides full scholarships to deserving low income students. You MUST apply during your junior year in high school.
George Rodrigue, the blue dog artist, offers scholarships to Louisiana juniors and seniors. Deadline January 2, 2012.
Ronald McDonald House Charities U. S. Scholarships. Deadline is January 27, 2012.
Louisiana Leaders Council offers scholarships for students attending college in Louisiana with a 3.0 gpa. Deadline is August 20.
Best Buy @15 Scholarship. Scholarship recipients receive $1000 towards college and are selected based on academic achievement, volunteerism efforts and work experience. Deadline for 2012 will be posted in January.
Buick Achievers Scholarship Program is for students who plan to major in one of the STEM areas such as: science, technology, engineering or mathematics. The deadline for 2012 has not been announced.
The Horatio Alger Louisiana Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students in the State of Louisiana who have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity and who aspire to pursue higher education. Deadline is for 2012 is now closed.
The Westbank Optimists Club offers a scholarship for seniors with a 2.5 GPA, 18 on the ACT and who reside on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish (including Plaquemines or Algiers). You must attend an accredited two or four year college program in Louisiana. Deadline has not been posted for 2012.
Metairie Rotary Scholarship Foundation offers a scholarship based on need and scholastic achievement. Deadline is March 31st.
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program is a new program honoring the legacy and character of the 40th president of the USA. The deadline is February 17, 2012.
